Our Story

Larder Hockey is owned and operated by Adam Larder. Originally a Saint John, NB native Adam now makes his home in Halifax, NS.

Being a goalie in pick up and recreational ball hockey leagues multiple days a week meant that he had a lot of gear to lug around. There had to be a better way than giant hockey bags or awkwardly balancing pads over the shoulder to get his pads to the game. The wheels began to turn, so to speak, and with a little trial and error the goalie backpack was born. It is now an essential piece of his hockey equipment.

When Adam is not playing hockey, he is a graphic designer by trade. All of the shirt designs on the website are his creations too.
